The registration fee for the Scout year helps pay for each Cub Scout’s awards, recognition items (pins, patches, etc.), National B.S.A. registration, insurance, activity kits (Pinewood Derby), Blue and Gold banquet ticket subsidy for Cub Scouts, and a variety of miscellaneous costs that are associated with Pack activities.
New Scouts
If you are new to Pack 16, we have a special initiation rate of $175.00 for 2022-2023, which includes the following.
- Your child’s Class B shirt
- Non Uniform Pack Patch
- Pack Unit Patch
- Pack Car Magnet
Returning Scouts
Annual dues for 2022-2023 are $150.00.
Boys Life Magazine
There is an additional $15.00 charge for a subscription to Boys Life Magazine. Boys Life is not required but highly recommended.
Den Dues
In addition to the Pack Registration Fee, each Den leader will periodically collect nominal Den dues to help support the cost of Den projects and activities throughout the year. Your Cub Scout’s Den leader will clarify the exact amount, how, and when it is to be paid. Typically the projects and crafts are part of the Den’s Rank Requirements and Electives.
